Contactless Holds Pickup Service Starting Soon
Beginning Monday, June 15, we will be offering contactless holds pick-up service. Patrons will be able to place holds online and arrange for pick-up of physical library materials.
This service will be available at all nine of our locations across the city from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday. We will be continually monitoring this service and making adjustments as necessary moving forward.
Pick-ups will be by appointment, and information on making appointments will be included in the notifications patrons receive when their holds are ready.
Return slots will also reopen on June 15 so patrons can return materials they have been holding onto since libraries closed in mid-March. However, there will be no late fines charged for the foreseeable future and patrons are therefore encouraged to hold onto items for a while longer, if possible, so libraries are not overwhelmed with returns during the first few days.
