We’re joining Saskatchewan’s libraries and celebrating Aboriginal Storytelling Month
We’re excited to celebrate Aboriginal Storytelling Month again this year, with a range of programming for all ages throughout February.
For 15 years, libraries, schools and organizations across Saskatchewan have been hosting Aboriginal Storytelling Month events in February. This year, we are hosting programs with three well-known Indigenous storytellers, a film series featuring Indigenous filmmakers, puppet shows that highlight Indigenous wisdom and a Métis dance party.
We are also hosting the Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month wrap-up event — a storytelling’s workshop — at the Cliff Wright Library on Mar 1.
