How to Use SPL During Closures
While libraries across the city may be closed, we've still got lots going on behind the scenes! Check out the information below for details on everything that you can still do at SPL.
From eBooks and eAudiobooks to movies and music, SPL's Digital Library has lots of free learning and entertainment resources for all ages. Access them for free with a library card.
Temporary Library Cards
Don't have a library card? Sign up online for a temporary one that you can use to access digital materials while our locations are closed.
Follow us on social media to enjoy programs for all ages and ability levels.
Outreach Workers are continuing to answer phone calls and emails. Our Outreach Workers can help in many ways, particularly with support you may need in solving problems related to housing, mental health, addictions, crisis support, employment, income, or other confidential and important needs. They can also provide referrals to other community organizations.
Employees are committed to doing all they can to help provide assistance for everyone, regardless of ability level, while the libraries are closed. If you or someone you know requires specialized assistance or materials, please contact us by email ([email protected]) or by calling 306.975.7565.
Our Local History employees are answering reference questions remotely, and can also provide Local History images that have been digitized. Questions? Email us at [email protected] any time.
