Representative Workforce Survey (Voluntary)

The Saskatoon Public Library believes our workforce should be representative of the community we serve and recognizes that some groups are currently under-represented in our workforce. We ask that you consider participating in our survey which is completely voluntary. If you choose to respond, your information is confidential and will only be utilized by Human Resource professionals for the purpose of monitoring and measuring our progress towards the goal of developing a representative workforce.

Aboriginal people are those who identify themselves as First Nations (status or non-status), Métis or Inuit.

Visible minority people are “persons, other than Aboriginal peoples, who are people of colour.” Visible minority does not refer to nationality or religion, but refers to people who identify themselves as being non-Caucasian in race or non-white in colour. Members of visible minorities may, for example, be persons of African, Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Pacific Islander, East Asian, Southeast Asian, West Asian, Arab or Latin American ancestry.
