Loan Period Updates
Effective Jan 1, 2023, Saskatoon Public Library (SPL) will be changing the loan periods on many items to what they were pre-pandemic. This change is being made to better align loan periods at SPL with other public libraries across the province and to help shorten holds lists. The following table provides an overview of the loan periods that will come into effect in 2023.

| Interlibrary Loans | 21 days | 10 | At the discretion of the lending library. Please request renewals at least three days before the item’s due date. |

*Items may only be renewed if they have not been requested by other patrons.
