- Poetry – up to 4 pages, any style
- Short Stories – one story up to 8 pages
- Reminiscences – up to 8 pages
- Other – up to 8 pages in another style
Submission Guidelines
Poetry: up to four pages of poetry in any style and on any theme
Short Story: one story up to eight pages on any theme
Reminiscence: up to eight pages on any theme
Other: up to eight pages in another style on any topic
- You may only submit writing that you have not submitted to us in a previous year.
- Put your name on each entry, as well as the title of the work and the category of writing (poem, short story, reminiscence, other).
- Writers retain copyright over their own writing, but entries will not be returned.
- Print entries must be typed and double-spaced.
- You may enter as many times as you want in as many categories as you want.
Deadline
Your writing can be submitted starting Mar 1. Submission(s) are due by 5 pm on Tuesday, Apr 30, 2024.

Print Submissions
Print entries must be submitted in a sealed envelope, along with a completed registration form that must include the title of each entry (up to three titles on each registration form). Feel free to drop off your submission in person at any of our locations, or mail it to:
